Infant Curriculum Overview (4 months – 2 years)
Each child begins learning from the moment they are born. Montessori refers to the child at this period as the “spiritual embryo” as the child possesses an “absorbent mind”.
In the infant room, we allow each child to develop according to their own nature and have the freedom to create their individual personality. Activities are designed to promote the development of social skills, emotional growth, and physical coordination, as well as cognitive preparation for future intellectual and academic endeavours.
